GENEVA — Charles N. Ellis, age 74, of Geneva, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was Born Dec. 13, 1937, in Greenville, Pa., the son of Lorenzo D. and LaVerne E. (Ferree) Ellis. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Charles married Roselie W. (Runyan) on Sept. 29, 1962, in Cochranton, Pa.
He was warehouseman for R.D. Werner Co. in Pennsylvania for 37 years, retiring in 2000.
Charles was a Soldier in the Salvation Army in Greenville and Sharon, Pa., and most recently a member of The Geneva Church of Christ. He was a member of the Werner Bowling League and enjoyed roller skating.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Terri Sue (Jeffrey) Morris and Todd S. (Pamela) Ellis, both of Sharon, Pa., Tonya (Dwight) Fritz of Gates Mills and Joel Jay (Nicole) Ellis of Greenville, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Linda Johnson of Hermitage.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Norman Jr.; and his parents.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 16th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with the Rev. Matt Thompson, of Geneva Church of Christ, officiating. Interment at Shenango Valley Cemetery in Greenville, Pa.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 15th, at the Funeral Home.
