TITUSVILLE, N.J. JoAnn M. Moslock Meyer, 49, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Lancaster, Pa., and was raised in Danville, Pa., before moving to Morrisville, Pa., and Asbury Park, N.J. She had been a resident of Titusville for 23 years. JoAnn was a graduate of St. Cyril Academy, Danville, and Point Park University, Pittsburgh, with a degree in journalism.

JoAnn formerly was employed as a reporter for the Trenton Times and the Asbury Park Press. Most recently, she was the director of communications for the Hopewell Valley Regional School District.

JoAnn won many awards from the New Jersey Press Association for her journalism work in Trenton and Asbury Park, as well as awards from the New Jersey School Boards Association for work that she did in Hopewell Valley.

JoAnn is survived by her parents, John and Darlene Moslock, of Danville; her husband, George C. Meyer, of Titusville; three daughters, Jacqueline, Rachel and Meredith, of Titusville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Curt Carter, of Geneva, N.Y., and Susan and Bill Coombe, of Fishersville, Va.; three brothers-in-law, Paul Meyer and his wife, Sharon, of Yardville, N.J., David Meyer and his wife, Carol, of Seaside Park, N.J., and Robert Meyer and his wife, Donna, of Hamilton, N.J.; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Frett and her husband, George, of Toms River, N.J.; as well as many nieces and nephews. JoAnn also had been blessed with many dear friends in the Hopewell Valley community.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Debra,

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. George Roman Catholic Church, 1370 River Road, Titusville.

Burial will follow in Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton.
