Frank Thomas Meyash of Porter Township. Alexandria. R. D., passed away Sunday, July 3,1955, at 6:40 a. m. in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, where he had been a patient for four days. He had been in failing health for five years.
The deceased was born October 6, 1889, in Hungary, a son of George and Dora (Lukachich) Meyash. He was united in marriage to Mary Brulia June 27,1923, at Cumberland, Maryland. Meyash was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic church in Huntingdon and the Alexandria Volunteer Fire Company. He was a kiln fireman at the Alexandria brickyard for twenty years, and had been employed at the brickyard for a total of 41 years.
His wife and two sons, John S. Meyash of Williamsburg, R. D., and Joseph P. Meyash of Huntingdon, survive. Three grandchildren, one brother and one sister who reside in Yugoslavia and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 6, at 10 a. m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon. The Rev. Fr. John J. Crowley will be celebrant of the mass and interment will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery, Huntingdon. The Rosary will be recited in the Grove funeral home in Alexandria at 8:30 p. m. this Tuesday. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
