The deceased had been in failing health for many years past, although the last illness was of short duration. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family.
Once again has an old settler been called to her eternal reward; the long journey is ended; the tired body is at rest and there remains one vacant chair. The funeral services were held at the Prairie Grove church on Friday afternoon, April 6, at 2:00 o'clock, and burial in the cemetery. Rev. A. S. Covert of the Presbyterian church at Middletown conducted the services.”
