Enid May Lumley was born in Ellsworth, Maine to William Deane Lumley & Margaret Arlene Edwards. She attended Sumner Memorial High School, Sullivan, Maine. Enid went to college in Massachusetts. She moved to California and went to college there also, earning a masters in Psychology. She resided in Los Angeles for a while.
Enid used to write "Lumley's Corner" for The Absolute Sound" Magazine, and also wrote for the International Audio Review. (aka Auntie Enid Lumley)
She loved the quiet life and later became a campground host for various campgrounds in northern California in the summers. In the winter she would migrate to the Yuma area.
Yuma Regional Medical Center is where she discovered she had advanced lung cancer in March of 2008. Enid passed away at La Mesa Healthcare Center, Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
We pray she finally found the peace of mind she seemed to always long for.
Enid is survived by a brother, a half sister, 7 nephews.
