Michael A. Przybylski, 75, 417 Chapley Ave., Junction City, died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospice, Marshfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Junction City. Officiating will be his son, the Rev. Donald Przybylski, Stevens Point and Rev. John Wisneski. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pisarski-Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. A vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and the Knights of Columbus Council 4646 will combine with the general rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.
Mr. Przybylski was born Dec. 10, 1920, in the town of Carson, a son of the late John and Mary (Shemanski) Przybylski. He attended town of Carson schools.
On Jan. 5, 1943, he entered the U.S. Army at Fort Sheridan, Ill. He served as sergeant with the Army Air Corp as an engine mechanic. On Oct. 17, 1945, he was honorably discharged in Amarillo, Texas.
His marriage to Julia Kadzielawski took place on Oct. 5, 1946, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Junction City. She died Jan. 17, 1985.
On April 30, 1988, he was married to May Pelot at St. Michael Catholic Church. She survives. After that marriage, the couple settled at the present address.
He worked at Joerns Co., for five years. He also worked at Consolidated Papers, Paper Board Products Division, Wisconsin Rapids, for 33 years until his retirement in 1983.
A member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus 4646, he also was a former volunteer firefighter with the Junction City Fire Department and was an usher at St. Michael Catholic Church.
He enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing and volunteer work.
Survivors besides his wife and son include one other son, Gary (Cindy), Hudson; one daughter, Susan (John) Durtschi, Eau Claire; four granddaughters; four brothers, Vincent (Florence) and Martin (Clara), both of Stevens Point, Jerome (Gertrude), Plover, and Edward (Alice), also of Stevens Point; and two sisters, Regina Polley, Almond, and Elizabeth (Martin) Guzman, Stevens Point.
