Craig Joseph Dacklin was born on Nov 26th, 1954 to Tore Birger and Betty (Morrison) Dacklin in Portland, Oregon and died at Portland Adventist Hospital on Nov 14th, 2011.

Craig was raised in the Irvington neighborhood, attending Sabin School and graduated from Grant High School.

He spent many years in the retail and flooring industry in the Salem area.

Craig was a devout Christian and was a member of Salem area churches including Gospel Outreach for Christ..

He is preceded in death by his father, Tore Birger and survived by his mother, Betty Morrison Dacklin Stroup, siblings Joyce, Paulla and David Dacklin; nieces Elizabeth Dacklin Dayne and Sunny Day Dacklin, nephew Lake Dacklin, brother-in-law Jeff Dayne, all of Portland; nephew Tony Stewart, great nephew Lukas Stewart and great niece Freja Stewart, all of Karlstad, Sweden.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26th at 2:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 147 NW 19th Avenue, Portland, Oregon.
