CLARK -- Naomi Jean Wagers age 85, of Clark, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Majora Lane Nursing Home, Millersburg, following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m., Monday, at the Clark Community Presbyterian Church with Rev. Burnetta Armour officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date.
Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling the arrangements.
She was born Sept. 29, 1925 in, Tyndall, and was the daughter of Raymond and Grace Fisher. On June 5, 1943, she married Lee Wagers, and he survives.
Naomi was a homemaker most of her life. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Naomi's hobbies included cooking, baking and reading novels, and she was an avid collector of owl figurines. She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the United States. She especially loved beach vacations at Myrtle Beach with the whole family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children and their spouses, David and Nola Wagers of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; Ronald and Christine Wagers of Elyria; Kevin and Linda Wagers of Raleigh, N.C., and Kerin and Charles Hart of Clermont, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Amy Wagers, Kelley Wagers, Kristen (John) Holland, Sara Hart, Jennifer (Thomas) O'Brien, Laura (Jared) Kocha, Sgt. Michael Lee Osburn, Corp. Nicholas Logan (Melanie) Osburn, Kasey Jill Wagers, Brian Daniels, and Todd Daniels; and five great- grandchildren, Brandon Holland, Abby Holland, Audrey Osburn, Anna Marie Daniels, and Dylan Tyler Daniels.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Donley, Lilly Lauvrey, and Sarah Sells; and a brother, Fielding Loos.
