Mr. Goldie Edwards, 65, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Toy of Kittanning RD 4 (Bunker Hill) Monday morning, July 19, 1954 at 9:05 a.m. Mrs. Edwards was born July 1, 1889, a daughter of Manuel and Julia Ann Cousins Johns. Surviving are four sons, William Edwards of Kittanning, Arthur Edwards of Kittanning, Henry Edwards, New Kensington; King Edwards, Kittanning RD 4; four daughters, Mrs. Cora Helgert of Reesedale; Mrs. Lillie Toy, Kittanning RD 4; Mrs. Edna Peters, Youngstown, Ohio and Mrs. Melda Stover, Adrian RD 1. Twenty grandchildren also survive, as does a brother, Perry Johns of Butler, RD, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Weaver of Evans City. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Smith funeral home are not complete.

Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Edwards, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Toy of Kittanning RD 4, will be held at the Smith funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of Templeton and Goheenville Presbyterian Churches, will conduct the service. Burial will be made in Limestone cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie Edwards of Kittanning RD 4 were held Wednesday afternoon at the Smith funeral home. Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of Templeton and Goheenville Presbyterian churches, conducted the services. Two Hymns, "Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown" and "Good Night and Good Morning," were used during the service. Bearers were Eugene Peters, Wesley Edwards, Edward Hockenberry and Lionel Helgert. Burial was made in the Limestone cemetery, Washington Twp.
