Mrs. Mary Johns, 79, wife of Perry Johns, of Ford City RD 3, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday (February 16,1960) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johns was born March 11, 1880, a daughter of David and Hannah Heginbotham Cousins. Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Nannie Allshouse, Dawson; Mrs. Violet Lyle, Vandergrift; Mrs. Evelyn Tanoff, Templeton RD 1; Mrs. Leona Altman, Wampum; three sons, James W. Bowser, Elderton; Warren Bowser and Dan Bowser, both of Kittanning. Thirty two grandchildren also survive as do many great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Daniel H. Cousins, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche McDonald, both of Adrian. Friends may call at Merwin (Smith) funeral home after 7 tonight, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 Saturday. Rev. John W. Snyder, assistant pastor of First Church of God, Woodward Ave., will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the family plot in Limestone Church of God cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Olive Johns, wife of Perry Johns, Ford City RD 3, whose death occurred last Tuesday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, were held Saturday afternoon in Merwin funeral home. Rev. John W. Snyder, assistant pastor of First Church of God, Woodward Ave., conducted the service. The hymns, "Bringing in the Shoaves," "Higher Ground" and "Good Night and Good Morning" were read by Rev. Snyder during the service. Bearers were Samuel Thomas, Charles Freedline, Arnold Garmong, Harvey Schrecengost, Gene Bowser and James Bowser. Burial was made in the family plot in Limestone Church of God cemetery.
