Phillip A. "Flip" Bowser, of Kittanning, beloved husband, grandfather, father, uncle and friend went to be with his heavenly father Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, one month after his 73rd birthday. He joins in heaven his son, Alan; and his parents, E. Ralph Bowser and Gertrude (George) Bowser. Phillip leaves behind his wife, Judy (Johnston) Bowser; daughters, Julie (Bowser) Heigley and her spouse, Bill, Lori (Lasher) Bennett and her spouse, John, and Kim (Lasher) Yurcevich and her spouse, George; sons, Craig Bowser and his spouse, Peggy, Michael Lasher and his spouse, Amanda, Ronald Lasher and his spouse, Rene, and Todd Pace. Phillip also leaves behind a great-grandchild, grandchildren, nieces, nephews; a sister, Sarah (Bowser) Schrecengost and her spouse, Neil; and a brother, William Kalb and his spouse, Peggy. Phillip, a friend to all who met him, lived in the Kittanning area all of his life. He was a professional truck driver for most of his working career and a member of the Center Hill Church of the Brethren. He will be missed every day. Private viewing and services were held Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, with his church pastor, the Rev. Wes Berkebile, officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home.
