Fannie Stoll, daughter of Daniel and Katherine Schindler, was born in Hickory Co, MO on May 25 1873. Died at her late home in Garden City MO on December 22, 1930. Age 57 years, 6 months and 27 days.
At the age of sixteen she was converted and for the past years has been a faithful member of the Methodist Church. On January 29, 1891, she was united in marriage to Peter J. Stoll, who with three daughters and five sons, survive her. Mrs. James Shelten, Creighton, MO, Mrs. Fred Plank, Mrs. Melvin Yoder, Floyd D, Daniel J. and Joe H. of Garden City MO., Clyde W. and Harold P. of Kansas City MO. Also 18 grandchildren. One son, Carl, and one grandson have preceded her. She also leaves an aged mother, four sisters: Mrs. Rudolph Leiber, Greenleaf, KS, Mrs. Henry Wene of Wheatland MO., Mrs. Will Nfziger of Deer Creek IL and Mrs Kernel Carpenter of Wheatland MO. Two brothers: Amos Schindler of Sturgeon MO and Dan Schindler of LaTour, MO., and many other relatives and friends.
"Mother, thou hast left us lonely, Sorrow fills our hearts today. but beyond this vale of sorrow Tears will all be washed away". "Oh the hope, the blissful hope, Which Jesus grace has given, The hope when days and years are passed, We all may meet in heaven."
Those out of town to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Amos Schindler and son, Albert of Sturgeon, MO, Mr and Mrs Henry Wente, Mrs. Ida Carpenter of Wheatland, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wyatt, Mr. Jacob Stoll, Mrs. Earl Ashcraft, Mr. Don Barber, Mr. Elmer Nelson, Mr. Tommy Brentson of Kansas City MO; Mr. and Mrs. Will Bannel of Wheatland and Mrs. M. Snyder and daughter of Medford, MO.
