Theresa M. "Teri" Bennett, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Jan. 4, 1942, in Fort Wayne, she was a self employed accountant. She was an avid golfer. "She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother."
Surviving are her husband, John F. Bennett of Fort Wayne; daughters, Tammy (Brian) Houser, Ms. Vickie Blair and Kimberly ♥ (William) Allen, all of Fort Wayne; sons, Christopher (Debra) Syndram of Morton, Illinois and Curtis (Lourdes) Syndram of Fishers, Indiana; stepson, Gregory (Jenny) Bennett of Owosso, Michigan; also sisters Patricia Merit and Suzanne (Rich) Stein, both of Fort Wayne; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Evelyn Lebrato; and grandson, Cpl. Jonathan F. Blair.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials to Salvation Army or Saint Mary's Soup Kitchen.
