Lewman E. Fraser
CONCORDIA — Lewman E. Fraser, 68, Concordia, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita. Mr. Fraser was born March 7, 1928, at Aurora. He was a farmer and self-employed mechanic. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 588, both of Concordia. He was a former member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Aurora.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha of Concordia; two daughters, Debra Istas of Aurora and Louisa Dowling of Cuba; two sons, Robert Letourneau of Aurora and Bill Letourneau of Salina; five sisters, Alvarita Fraser of Concordia, Been Dandurand of Tucson, Ariz., Eloise Pfeifer of Minneapolis, Delora Mae Schlatter of Tempe, Ariz., and Marlene Langevin of Portland, Ore.; four brothers, Fabian of Helena, Mont., Alvin of
Aurora, Daniel of Concordia and Raymond of Minneapolis; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Revs. Barry Brinkman and Henry Kieffer officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today at the funeral chapel, 325 W. Sixth St., Box 606, Concordia 66901.
