THORWALD TORGENSEN
Torgenson was a railway mail clerk and was instantly killed in the wreck at Blakely yesterday. He was 30 years old and lived with his wife's parents at 757 Logan street. Torgenson was a member of Company D, First regiment, M. N. G. He enlisted eight years ago. In 1902 he was promoted to quartermaster sergeant, an two years later, at his own request, was reduced to ranks. In 1905 he was made artificer, but the following year, again at his own request, was reduced. He won the marksmanship and expert rifleman's medal again in 1908. He was a member of the company's shooting team and the basket ball and track teams. Company D. will have charge of the funeral.

TORGERSEN--At Blakely, Minn., Dec. 19, 1909. Thorwald Torgersen in his twenty-eighth year. Services at late residence, 757 Logan street, Wednesday the 22d inst. at 2:30 p.m. Interment at Oakland cemetery.
