RIDE HAS TRAGIC END Sole Survivor Loses Right Arm in Mishap Sioux City Iowa Sunday night when a railroad caboose crashed their automobile at a railroad crossing.

Five killed, struck by a freight Train SIOUX CITY Iowa Nov 20, 1944; members of a family were killed and a sixth was injured in crash. The dead Mr and Mrs Walter E Leonard (Alice M) each about 30, their children Larry 8, Dale 7 and Doris 6 The only survivor was Harold 2 whose right arm was severed at the shoulder.

Neighbors plan funeral for train crash victims, services will be held Friday for the five members of the Sioux City family.
