KINGSTON — Ronald B. Davies, 68, of 8 Great Pond Road, died Jan. 27, 2000, at the Exeter Hospital.

He was born Aug. 1, 1931 in Salem, Mass., the son of the late Frank H. Davies and Hazel (Clarke) Wyatt. He was educated in the Swampsott, Mass. schools, graduated in 1949 from Lynn English High School, Lynn, Mass., and attended Salem Business College, Salem, Mass. He was a resident of Kingston for 24 years, previously residing in Danville and Hampstead.

Mr. Davies served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, stationed in Japan. He was employed by Merrimac Auto Supply, Lawrence, Mass., for 15 years and as general manager of Oyster River Apartments, Barrington for 12 years, retiring in 1993.

He was a former member of the Rockingham County Sheriff's Mounted Posse and the New England Tenn. Walking Horse Association.

He was an organ donor.

Family members include his wife of 44 years, Joyce (Tebbetts) Davies of Kingston; a son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey and Deanna Davies of Epping; three grandchildren, Jennifer Davies of California, Jameson Davies of California and Randi Foucher of Kingston; his stepmother, Victoria Davies of California;a brother, Douglas Davies of California; and a special friend, June Kulakowski of Kingston, who lives with the family.
