North St Paul Courier, Friday June 11, 1926

June remains popular as month of Weddings
Jungmann - Zurn Nuptials Solemnized at St Peter's Catholic Church Tuesday

Jungmann - Zurn
At a pretty wedding solemnized at St Peter's Catholic Church on Tuesday morning, June 8th, Miss Catherine B. Zurn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zurn, 132 19th ave. NE, became the bride of Mr. William A. Jungmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jungmann of Gladstone.

Lohengrin's wedding march announced the arrival of the bridal party. The first to enter were Messer. Frank and Anthony Jungmann, brother and cousin of the groom followed by the flower girl, Miss Helen Pirkl, niece of the bride. Then entered the bridesmaid, Miss Josephine Jungmann, sister of the groom; who wore a gown of peacock blue georgette and carried a arm bouquet of red roses! Next to enter was the maid of honor, Miss Christine Zurn, sister of the bride, who wore pink georgette and carried an arm bouquet of red roses.

The Bride, who wore white satin and georgette; her long tulle veil was in the cap effect and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The bride was met at the foot of the altar by the groom.

They were united in marriage by Rev. Father Hubert of the Sacred Heart Parish, St Paul. Mendelssohn's wedding march was played as a recessional. Miss Mildred Schleck presided at the organ and Mrs. Molitor sang "Give me thy heart," "Ave Maria," "O Lord, I am not Worthy," "How Pure, How Frail, How White".

After the ceremony a wedding reception was held at the home of the bride for the intimate relatives of the bride and groom.

They will be home after August 15 at Gladstone. The Courier joins a host of North St Paul friends of the bride in wishing the happy couple a long and prosperous matrimonial journey.
