MARY BRUN, 77, of West Jefferson, passed away peacefully at home Saturday November 24, 2012.
She was born January 25, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to Lester and Alvina Hickey.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
Mary is survived by her children, Joseph (Amy) Brun, Jr. of Hebron, Danette (Michael) Gallagher of West Jefferson, Kimberly Wright of Midway, Georgia, Kevin (Marie) Brun of Ostrander, Anthony Brun of Kennisaw, Georgia, Brian (Mary) Brun of Huntsville, Alabama, and Ian (Cindy) Brun of Delaware. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Norma) Hickey of Dayton; 2 sisters, Margie Michel of Florida and Dolly (Paul) Dunigan of Fairborn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph L. Brun Sr., daughter Victoria (Brun) Leichner, grandson Lonny Akers and a brother Lester Hickey.
A private visitation and funeral mass celebrated on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at St. Mary Church in Delaware, Ohio. Interment will be on Friday November 30, 2012 in the Dayton Memorial Cemetery. (Should read Dayton National Cemetery)
