Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the North Lincoln Funeral Home for Elmer Miller, 85, of Kernville, who passed away March 5. The Rev. Paul Dickey officiated and interment was in the Newport cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born in Prairie City, Kansas July 7, 1878 and had been a dairy rancher and breeder on the Siletz river for the past 46 years.
Surviving are his widow Gertrude; a son, Robert Lee of Brookings; a brother Fred in Idaho and two grandchildren.
