Jeremiah Clontz s/o John Michael Glantz and Margaret was a Revolutionary War Patriot enlisting in Charlotte, NC in 1778 and on the ,muster rolls of 1778 and 1779. His pension application was dated in 1838 and was approved. He received $90.00 @ $30.00 per year. He was a corporal.
DAR plaque placed twice but stolen both times but a white marble plaque at the foot of his grave was placed there by James Clonts and Irvin Meek both of Paulding County, GA two of his descendants in 1998.
