He was a foreman for Libby-McNeil & Libby in Houston and worked for the Mosquito Control Division for the State of Delaware.
During World War II he spotted planes.
He was a member of the Houston U.M. Church, the United Methodist Men, lifetime member of Houston Vol. Fire Co and former member of Vintage Chevy Car Club of Delaware.
He enjoyed gardening, baseball, bowling, horseshoes, woodworking and doing crossword puzzles.
