Charles Brown Dead From Fall Injuries
Charles H. Brown, World War II veteran, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cicero Brown of Swanpond Bottom, died in Nichols hospital in Louisville Monday as a result of injuries sustained February 4, at Cabin City in Clinton County when he was said to have fallen from some steps at a store building.
The body was returned to Jamestown by Pruitt Funeral Home Tuesday and a military funeral was held yesterday (Wednesday) morning by the local veteran posts.
Surviving are the parents, two sisters, Mrs. Docia Brumley of Jacksonville, Illinois, and Mrs. Verlie Brown of Rowena, and a brother Elmer Brown of Newcastle, Indiana. They have the sympathy of all in the loss of their son and brother.
