Mrs. Mary Henderson Cantrell, 94, a resident of Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia, died January 16, 2014. Funeral services were held January 20, 2014, at Flanigan Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Dave Fortner officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford.
Mrs. Cantrell was born March 11, 1919, in Cleveland, Georgia. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Buford.
Mrs. Cantrell was predeceased by her husband, Coleman Cantrell; a son, Charles Dennis Cantrell; and a daughter, Ruby Dean Ramey.
She was survived by her children, Robert (and wife Doris) Cantrell, Gladys (Mrs. Newman) Nichols; Joann (Mrs. Cleo) Tatum, Broadus (and wife Linda) Cantrell, James Michael Cantrell, David Cantrell, Evelyn Deaton, and Brenda Roebuck; 36 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Urania Chastain.
