Maxine Bishop, 83, of 305 N. Anna St., West Franfort died at 5:10 p.m., Saturday, at her home in West Frankfort.
She was born in Pinckneyville, September 8, 1908.
Her husband, Jack Bishop, preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker and of the protestant faith.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Moore of Effingham; one neice, Kendra Johnson of Effingham;several cousins including Imogene Sargeant of West Frankfort and Thomasine Jones of Thompsonville; and a dear friend, Don Goddard, of West Frankfort.
Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
Bishop----Funeral services for Maxine Bishop were held at 11:00 a.m. this morning, Monday, October 14, at the Union Funeral Home at West Frankfort. Rev Max Samples officiated and burial was in Masonic and Odd-Fellows Cemetery in Benton.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Hospice of Southern IL.
