| Birth: | unknown | | Death: | 1998 Seattle King County Washington, USA | A 5 year old tabby cat, who one day in 1998 showed up at Crown Hill Cemetery, soon became the cemetery cat. She was given the name Lilly. Always ready to greet the employees or visitors, Lilly enjoyed laying down on picnic tables and sun bathing. Sadly, one night Lilly was stabbed to death during a burglary, while the cemetery was closed. The cold hearted criminal or criminals were never apprehended. After stabbing Lilly, the thug threw the poor defenseless cat in the bathroom's trash can. A reward was offered to aid in the capture of this "person". So far no arrests have been made. If someone has any info about this crime, they are asked to please contact the Seattle police. Lilly was a devoted cat who made all who came in contact with very happy. She was buried on the cemetery grounds with her catnip and favorite toy, buried not too far from the spot where she would sun herself, under the picnic table. A small cat statue adorns her grave. A great big Thank You to White Light for sponsoring Lilly's memorial
