Don was a loving husband and father and loved by many. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Don was a 1991 graduate of Jordan High School.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Kim Pope of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Sarah Pope of Phenix City, AL; parents, Donald and Lynda Pope of Columbus; four sisters, Lacretia Pope of Jacksonville, FL, Dee Elkins (Johnny) of Smiths, AL, Jenifer Tant (Billy) of Harris County, GA, and Dera Burkes (Billy) of Johnson City, TN; mother and father in law, Calvin and Marilyn King; sister-in-law, Lisa Sinclair (Mark); several nieces and nephews.
