Swen Aho was survived by his step-daughter, Penny (Allen) Bryant of Mission, Texas. His oldest sister, Hazel Engle of Negely, Ohio survived him by only one day. They leave behind three sisters, Helga Slosarik and Helvie Aho of Las Gatos, California and Irene (William) Mourufas of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; and one brother, Arnie (Cleo) Aho of Cle Elum, Washington.
Swen was preceded in death by his wife, Lucile Aho and brothers, Wilho Aho, Elmer Aho, Mauno Aho, and Eino Aho; and sister, Marian Hill.

Swen Felix Aho, 93, of Charlevoix, Michigan, formerly of Rudyard, MI, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, in Charlevoix.
He was born December 18, 1917, in Kinross, to Victor Aho and Ottyl Jaana (nee Marjanen) Aho.
Mr. Aho grew up working on the farm and in the family's lumber camp. They processed logs into lumber and shingles, and crafted sleighs. He was the proud owner of the family's first car, a 1929 Ford.
Mr. Aho married Lucile Kirkby March 14, 1963, in Nashua, Iowa, and they made their home in Kinross, before moving to Rudyard in 1965. He added a lumberyard to the sawmill, creating Aho Lumber in Rudyard, which he operated until 1983.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Rudyard.
Mr. Aho traveled each year to family reunions around the country and the couple also visited both coasts of the United States.
His oldest sister, Hazel Engle of Negely, Ohio, passed away the day after he died.
He was survived by his stepdaughter and her family, Penny and Allen Bryant of Mission, Texas, three sisters and their families, Helga Slosarik and Helvie Aho, both of Las Gatos, California, and Irene and William Mourufas of Sault Ste. Marie, and one brother and his family, Arnie and Cleo Aho of Cle Elum, Washington.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Aho was preceded in death by his wife, Lucile Aho, a sister, Marian Hill, and four brothers, Wilho Aho, Elmer Aho, Mauno Aho, and Eino Aho.
