Frank Herman John Everett, the third of ten children, born to Fred and Amelia (Miller) Everett, on March 27, 1896, on the Edward Miller farm, located 1/2 mile west and 3/4 mile north of Jasper, Eden Township, Pipestone County, MN.
Frank was baptized on May 3, 1896, at the German Lutheran Church, Jasper, MN., by Rev Kohlmeier. Sponsors were Herman Miller and John Everett, both uncles of Frank. Frank was confirmed on March 31, 1912 with Rev Amend officiating.
Frank served from June 23, 1918 until November 10, 1919 in the U. S. Army during World War I.
Frank married Sigrid Elise Hauglid, January 31, 1923. The marriage was performed by Paster Edward Hegland, in the Jasper Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jasper, MN. Albert Everett and Helen Hauglid witnested the ceremony.
The families first home was on the Everett farm two miles northwest of Jasper, MN, Baby,Ivan, Clair, Merlyn, Norman and Howard were born there.
In March 1936, the family moved to a farm along the river one mile northeast of Jasper. Neil was born en route to this location, at the home of his grandparents, Andrew and Emma (Larson) Hauglid in Jasper, MN. Les and Paul were born there at the farm and Eileen was born in the Pipetone Memorial Hospital.
Frank's health begin failing in 1952. On December 17, 1957, he entered Veterans Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. On May 22, 1958, he was transferred to the Veterans Hospital, St Paul, MN. He died there October 8, 1958, having reached the age of 62 years, 6 months and 11 days.
