Mr. Fennell was born Aug. 15, 1926, in Sharon to Harry Eugene and Phoebe Mildred McCafferty Fennell.
He retired as a social studies teacher from West Middlesex High School and, prior to that, taught in Hermitage School District.
A 1944 alumnus of West Middlesex High School, he graduated in 1952 from Westminster College, New Wilmington.
As a veteran of the Army, he served in World War II in the Signal Corps.
His wife, the former Joan Gilkey, whom he married Aug. 15, 1947, survives at the residence.
Besides his wife, he leaves two brothers, Charles O. Fennell and his wife Barbara; and William Fennell and his wife Charlene, all West Middlesex; and two nieces and a nephew.
Harmon was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob Fennell.
