A. Estelle (Trumble) Ferrell, 70, of Center Hill community near Linden, Cass Co., TX, passed away early the morning of April. 28, 1992, at the home of her daughter & son-in-law in the Center Hill community. Funeral Services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April. 29, at the Center Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Hall and the Rev. Kerry Easley officiating. Burial was in the New Colony Cemetery, near Linden, Texas.

Estelle (Trumble) Ferrell was born near Marietta in Cass County, Texas, August 23, 1921, to Isham Stroud and Maggie Lee (Myers) Trumble.

On April 29, 1939, she married W. Vernon Ferrell at her home near Marietta, Cass Co., TX. They lived in the New Colony area for many years, later after the children were born they moved to Linden, TX, were members of the First Baptist Church.

Estelle helped her husband in his business for many years, after Vernon retired and they moved to the Center Hill area and became members of the Center Hill Baptist Church. She continued working, as waitress at several different places with her last place of employment at the Atlanta Memorial Hospital, in the kitchen and food service area.

In the mid 1980's she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, after a year of treatments she was tested clean of the dread disease, but it left her with other health problems. She tested clean of the cancer though till her death.

Preceding her in death was Vernon Ferrell, her husband of 52 years being buried on the day that would have been their 53 anniversary, both of her parents, Isham and Maggie (Myers) Trumble; one son, Aaron Rolland Ferrell; one daughter, Eula May Ferrell; one grandchild, Annette Marie Hall; three brothers, Isham Lee, Wilford Morris, Jonas Welborn Trumble; and two sister, Frances Josephine (Trumble) McMichael Ralls, Norma Woodrow (Trumble) Edwards.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Josephine (Ferrell) & Freddie Hall of Linden and Gloria (Ferrell) & Jeff Roe of Jefferson; four sisters, Alma Licenia (Trumble) Shadix Frisby of Louisiana, Lucille Isabelle (Trumble) Weir of Hurst, Trixie Michelle (Trumble) Tow Mistead of Pasadena and Maggie Odella (Trumble) Hawk Fqsnaugh of Linden; one brother, Johnny Trumble of Linden; four grandchildren, Jo Anna (Hall) Duncan, Vernon Hall, John Roe & Sara Roe; and four great-grandchildren Keith Duncan, Brittany Duncan, Josh Hall & Ashley Hall. Also many other members of the family and friends.
