I didn't know if you knew, but William Guy Brashears is actually the son of Henry Guy Brashears. I don't know yet where he is buried...still looking. However,him and Ardis married about 1905, then Henry died in 1910. Ardis married his brother Mack after 1910 then they had three kids. William IS listed in the census as being Mack's son, but he isn't. It lists Henry as his father on the death cert. I just thought I would let you know.

William G. Brashears Dies Here Last Night
William Guy Brashears died at his home on Canton Street last night about 11 o'clock from a lingering illness of approximately one year.
Before becoming ill he was employed by the by the Baldwin Truck & Tractor Co. where he was considered a valuable employee.
The deceased was born August 8, 1906, at Cerulean, the son of Henry and Ardis Stewart Brashears. His father passed away several years ago. On. Sept. 15, 1928, he married Miss Helen Marquess and to this union was born one son, William Marquess Brashears, both of whom survived. In addition to these he is survived by his mother, a step father, M. L. Brashears, two half brothers, Dennis and Arnold and one half sister, Mrs. Nuel Cortner all of Trigg County.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Wood-Fuqua-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. M.G. Schuster in charge. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers James L. Jenkins, Urey Burruss, Howard Major, Florian Cansler, Russell McGee, and J.D. Collins, employees of the firm with which the deceased worked.
