Mrs. Anna Sowers, age 94 years, passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Minnie Plessel on Tuesday. Funeral services were held at the S and S Home (***Note: Soldier and Sailors) at two o'clock Thursday with Rev. Wm. Rembolt officiating. Burial at Blue Mound Cemetery.
Out of town relatives who came to attend the funeral were Mrs. John Plessel, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Johnson, Mrs. Emma Boss and Mr. Frank Benash of O'Neill, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Plessel and family, Mrs. Minnie Tighe, Mrs. Joe Benash and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walbridge and Mr. Will Benash of Omaha.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sowers, who passed away on Tuesday, July 29, were held last Thursday at the S and S Home with Rev. Wm. G. Rembolt officiating. Burial was at Blue Mound Cemetery.
Obituary
Annie Gray was born in Austria, Germany, June 24, 1836. She with relatives came to America in 1840.
At the age of 25 she was married to Frank Benash. To this union nine children were born four of whom preceded her in death. Her husband died in the year 1884. She was alone for 8 years.
In May 1892 she married W.J. Sowers. During the year 1915 they moved to the S and S Home at Milford, Nebraska. On November 15, 1920 Mr. Sowers passed away. She continued living at the home until a short time ago.
She passed away July 29, 1930 at the age of 94 years, 1 month and 3 days. Those who mourn her death are: Frank Benash, Mrs. John Plessel, Mrs. Ed Boss and Mrs. Jens Johnson, all of O'Neill, Nebraska and Mrs. Minnie Plessel of Milford, Nebraska. There are also 23 grandchildren and 34 great grand children. (sic)
