Died, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Dec. 22, 1907, at the family residence, three miles east of the city, on the Rochester road, of pneumonia, Mrs. Charlotte Fredricka Nokes, aged 60 years, 3 months and 2 days. The deceased was born in Quincy, Ill., and was married to A. B. Nokes on Sept. 20, 1865. She has lived near this city for the past twenty years.
She is survived by her husband, A. B. Nokes; five sons, Alfred H., Harley S., George D., William V., and Gilbert L.; one daughter, Mrs. George I. Handley of this city, and one sister, and one brother. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 12-23-1907
