Enoch and Zilphia (Meeks) Hutcheson are not buried in the present Corinth Church Cemetery. They were buried at the original church site and their markers were later moved to this cemetery. According to Marie J. Amerson in her book, Generations of a Brush Arbor - A History of Corinth Methodist Church (2003): "Enoch Hutcheson, Sr. (1816-1895) and his wife Zilphia (1816-1886) were among the founding members buried at a site about 1 1/2 miles south of the current location of Corinth. As the graves were being encroached upon by farming activities, Billy and V.J. Hutcheson had the markers moved to Corinth..." (pg. 28).
