Former Policeman A.T Boltin Dies ORANGEBURG-- Artis Thelzy Boltin, 58, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a long illness. Mr. Boltin was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Johnnie and Julia Lee Walling Boltin. He was retired from the Orangeburg Police Department. Mr. Boltin was a member of the Elk`s Club and the S.C. Law Enforcement Association. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Mildred Davis Boltin; a son Melvin Boltin of Orangeburg; six sisters, Mrs. W.A. Carrigg and Mrs. Joe Derrick of Columbia, Mrs. Frank Champy of Cordova, Mrs. Ed Nettles of Orangeburg, Mrs. Dantzler Edwards and Mrs. Henry Dukes of Rowesville; and two brothers, John Henry and Rufus Boltin of Cope. Services will be 3 p.m. today in Thompson Funeral Home with burial in Crestlawn Memorial Garden Orangeburg, Sc.
