Kate was the daughter of Sadie (nee Fitzpatrick) Bradler and Charlie Bradler. Her siblings were: Francis, Dorothy "Dolly" and Robert. She married Mike Claffey on December 16, 1934. Kate and Mike were the parents of Kevin, Sally, Regina and Junie. Kevin died at age 13 when playing with a gun at a friend's house. My Dad spent a lot of time at Aunt Kate's house after this. My Grandmother would send him over often since Aunt Kate and Uncle Mike lost their son. My Dad loved going to the Claffey's.

Aunt Kate was my Father's Aunt and my Godmother. She was a very sweet lady. She would serve lots of food when you went to visit her.

Special thanks to Ronzoni for taking the photo of the Claffey family headstone.

Thinking of you today, Aunt Kate. My Dad still tells me wonderful stories of going to your house when he was a child. You are loved and remembered.
