Services for Lewis C. Gibbons, 75, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Rodger Wisdom officiating and Jerry Wayne Gibbons II assisting.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003.
He was born July 27, 1927, in Charley. He married Louise Moxley on Jan. 6, 1943. She died in March 1987. He married Barbara Merrick on Aug. 29, 1988, in Lubbock.
He lived his early adult life in Wichita Falls and moved to Lubbock in 1960. He was a novelty salesman and owned Gibbons Sales. His route covered New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. He owned and operated Cap City until his death. He attended Melanie Park Church.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
