Charley Flaws 1913-1960
Funeral services were held at the Cease Funeral Chapel in Bagley on Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Charley J. Flaws, 47, resident of Bear Creek Township, who died unexpectedly November 16 following a heart attack. Edgar Kircher officiated and burial was made in the Alida Cemetery.
He was born at Siston, South Dakota, November 15, 1913 and his marriage to Cora Thorson took place in Bemidji November 11, 1944. He was employed in heavy equipment on the Great Northern railway.
Surviving are his wife; four children, Delores, John, Ronald and Robert, all at home; his mother Mrs. Margaret Flaws of Bagley; three brothers, Elmer and George of Shevlin and Harry of Bagley; three sisters, Mrs. Wilbur School and Mrs. Lyle Johnson of Iowa and Mrs. Albert Kemnitz of Lidgerwood, North Dakota. His father, a brother Arthur, preceded him in death.
