William Rollins Royals married Nancy Todd, daughter of Joe Jackson Todd. William and Joe served together in C0 G, 10th SCV. Prudence Royals, sister of William, married Levi Frank Todd who also served in C0 G, 10th SCV. When Prudence and Levi died suddenly, William took their children into his home and raised them as his own.
