North Dakota, USA
|Death: ||Oct. 17, 2012|
Our loving companion crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a full life and lots of adventures. He was rescued after his family had been freed to run along the river in South East North Dakota. Most of his siblings were killed or trapped. Ajax kept the authorities looking and chasing him as a puppy for several months. When he was caught and scheduled for termination, he was seen and rescued by his adoptive family.
He loved to run and escaped regularly to raise the alarm of "dog out". He visited his favorite spots; Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Buffallo Hot wings, NDSCS dorms, NDSU and Fargo Dome stadium, Campus Police and Humane Society.
He loved to ride in Police cars and dog catcher trucks. Fences were his greatest challenge and he regularly chewed through pickets.
He loved Italian food, especially pizza (crusts with peanutbutter), ice cream and watching childrens television shows (Sesame Street).
His companions were his cats (Precious, Oscar I and II) and his buddie dogs (Juneau, Sheba, Elway, and Nicolai). In his last years, Oscar II was a service animal for him, leading him in and out the doorways and ramp and alerting the family to needs (water and opening of doors).
His family of kids and grandkids were special to him all his years and he will be missed by all of them as well as mom and dad.
He left us and the infirmities of age and health to meet his friends already across that bridge. His earthly remains wil be scattered near the place he loved to fish with dad near Robbie Creek.
Cremated, Ashes scattered.
