Emsley Canutt died at the home of his brother John L. Canutt at Lake Stevens. Surviving are a brother Joseph F Canutt of Tekoa, WA and Mr. Mary F. Owen of Portland. Mr. Canutt was a civil war veteran and was a member of Nathaniel Lyon Post #19, G.A.R. of Colfax, WA. The body is at the chapel at Broadway and Wall. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Emsly parents were Alexander & Sarah (Hollingsworth) Canutt, his sibling are know to be Enos, Alexander, Rosanna, Mary, Joseph and John.
