Felix is the son of Gabriel Ferrell & Manise Demunbrun Fleming Ferrell Sanders.

He married Nancy Bly Johnson on December 22, 1870, Edmonson Co, Kentucky.
His second wife was Cyntha A. Sanders whom he married January 12, 1903, Edmonson Co, Kentucky.
His Third wife was Arrena Johnson Whittle (Sister of Nancy). They were married May 9, 1911 at Edmonson Co, Kentucky.

SUMMONS FOR MR. FERRELL

First Sexton of Morris Hill Cemetery Dead at Age of 70

MERIDIAN - Paralysis, developing from a clot on the brain, Friday morning caused the death of Felix Newton Ferrell, a resident five miles east of Meridian. He had been seriously ill but a short time.

Mr. Ferrell was born in Kentucky in 1846. In 1889 he located in Boise, where he served as the first sexton of Morris Hill cemetery. His body will be laid to rest in the burial ground over which he then had charge, Saturday afternoon. Brief services at the grave at 3:30 o'clock will be preceded by a service at the home at 1:30.

The widow and 10 children survive Mr. Ferrell. The six daughters are, Mrs. E. C. Bowles and Mrs. S. K. Bowles of Kaskia, Ida., Mrs. S. Woodmore, of Boise, Mrs. W. R. Bass and Mrs. W. A. Breshears of Star, and Mrs. Nelson (this should be Mrs. Nelson Hanson) of Nyssa, Ore. The four sons are W.C. of Nyssa, Ore., H. J. of South Boise, J. G. of Meridian and Fay N. of Boise.

Obituary
Felix Newton Ferrell, aged 70 years, died this morning at the family home five miles east of Meridian. Mr. Ferrell was a native of Kentucky, having been born in that state May 17, 1846. He is survived by his wife and the following children, W. C. Ferrell, Nyssa; Mrs. C.E. Bowles, Kooskia; H.J. Ferrell, South Boise; Mrs. S. K. Bowles, Kooskia; Mrs. S. Woodmore, Boise; Mrs. W. R. Bass, Star; Mrs. W. A. Breshars, Star; J.G. Ferrell, Merician; Mrs. Nelson Hanson, Council and Fay N. Ferrell of Boise. Mr. Ferrell came to Boise in 1889 and was the first Sexton at Morris Hill Cemetery. The funeral will be held at 1:30 o'clock at the family home tomorrow afternoon. Services will be held at the grave in Morris Hill Cemetery at 2:30 o'clock.

WELL KNOWN FARMER DIES OF PARALYSIS

Meridian, Aug. 19 - Through Paralysis, developing from a clot on the brain, Felix Ferrell, a farmer residing near this place died at his home yesterday morning. He had been ill for some days, but his condition had not been considered serious. Mr. Ferrell had been a resident of the Boise valley for 27 years, and was most highly respected throughout this section, in which he was well known. He was a native of Kentucky and located in Boise in 1889. He was over 70 years of age and was the first sexton of the Morris Hill cemetery, and in that cemetery his body will be laid to rest this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after funeral services at his home at 1:30 o'clock. The demise of the deceased is mourned by his widow and 10 children. The four sons are W. C. Ferrell of Nyssa, Ore., H. J. Ferrell of south Boise, J. G. Ferrell of this place and Fay N. Ferrell of Boise; and his six daughters are Mrs. E. C. Bowles and Mrs. S. K Bowles of Kaskia (should be Kooskia), Ida., Mrs. S. Woodmore of Boise, Mrs. W. R. Bass and Mrs. W. A. Brashears of Star, and Mrs. Nelson (should be Mrs. Nelson Hanson) of Nyssa, Ore.
