Never had much style about her, never cared for dress;
Sort of spent her life a sowin' seeds of happiness;
Doin' little things for others, helpin' where she could;
Never makin much pretention, always doin' good.
Home for her was all for livin' latch strings hung outside.
Wanted much of joy and laughter, seemed to like the sound.
Had her cares and had her troubles, same as all of us;
Figured them a part of livin' never made much fuss.
Ever toiling, giving, taking, kind and provident.
Made the best of all God gave her, as through life she went.
Vain the tribute we would pay her, words cannot express;
What it meant to have her with us, and our thankfulness.
Sweet the memories she has left us, though our hearts are numb.
Great the blessing, that was given, just to call her mom and grandma.
Pallbearers were: Glenn Carlson, Dan Peterson, Marcus Carlson, Tom Cain, Al Fisher and Gerald Brooks. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Wiggins II, Ralph Brooks, Roland McNeal, Don Smith, Kenneth Peterson and Virgil Schlesener.
