Birth: Mar. 18, 1868
Pleasant Hill (Talbot County)
Talbot County
Georgia, USA
Death: Jul. 30, 1939
Tifton
Tift County
Georgia, USA

Father: John D. Allen, Talbot County, Georgia. John was appointed musician for Company D, 13 Georgia Infantry Volunteers, Confederate States Army. He surrendered at Appomattox Courthouse with Gen. Robert E. Lee in 1965. His time of birth, death and burial are unknown. There is no record of him after 1867. Lizzie was his only child.

Mother: Elizabeth Cameron Allen Howell, daughter of John A. Cameron, Talbot County, Georgia. Elizabeth remarried to William A. Howell (unverified), and there is evidence they may have moved to Lee County, Alabama. Her date of death and burial are unknown. My thanks to Donna Wise for this information.

Lizzie's half-sister, Mittie Lee Howell married William Frank Bishop of Omega, Tift Co, Ga, and they and the Bishop Family are buried with the Colliers in the Collier-Bishop Lot at Salem.

Lizzie and W.H. had a 4th child, William Paul Collier (1909-1992) of Rome, Georgia.
