Mrs. Diane Collier Day Carr, age 71, of Morrow, formerly of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Waycross, GA and a member of The First Baptist Church of Rock Hill, SC. She is survived by sister-in-law Gwendolyn W. Collier; nephew and wife Al and Patti Collier; niece and husband Denise and Charles Bowen; nieces Kelly Ann Stanfield and Paula Stanfield, 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 2, 2011 at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA with Sarah Withers officiating.
Diane was married to Grady Day until he died in 1976. Her second spouse was George Carr, who is buried in Sylvester, Ga. Diane was also predeceased by her sister, Clarice Collier Stanfield
