James "Jim" E. Louthan was born 06 Dec 1868 in Ohio; the youngest of four boys born to Oliver Perry and Elizabeth (Vernon) Louthan.

Jim was united in marriage with Anna "Annie" May Paaehar; daughter of J. Herman and Emmogene (Andress) Paaehar.

The 1900 census shows Anna had given birth to 2 children, but 0 were living and Jim worked for the railroad.

Jim passed away 14 Apr 1940 at their home in Brookfield, Linn County, Missouri at the age of 71 years. He was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookfield, Linn, Missouri.

Annie passed away 29 Sep 1957 in Brookfield at the age of 77 years. She was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery with her husband.
