Was born in Gold Hill Nevada in Jan. of 1867 to William & Karen Coughlin. He was accadentaly killed while playing on the Virginia & Truckee Rail Road tracks on Aug. 18th 1878 at age 11. He was laid to rest in the Catholic Section of the Gold Hill Cemetery. His parents must have moved away after his death as their names do not appear in the Storey Co. Records.
