WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Edith Oegerle, 86, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, in Westminster, Colo. She was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Wakefield, the daughter of John Sidney and Lydia (Hostetler) Shandy. She graduated from Milford High School. She was married to Paul Oegerle, and most of their married life was spent in the Denver area. Surviving are her husband; a son, Bob, and two daughters, Joyce and Linda, all of Denver; and a sister, Hazel Steinford of Wakefield. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Carl, Frank, George, John, Clifford, Art and Earl; and two sisters, Ethel Zerbe and Gladys Heintz. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 1998, in Westminster, Colo. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wakefield Museum.

She was born on Feb. 23, 1912, to John Sidney Shandy and Lydia Hostetler Shandy, at Wakefield. She graduated form Milford High School. She was married to Paul Oegerle and lived most of her married life in the Denver area. Survivors include her husband; one son, Bob; two daughters, Joyce and Linda; and one sister, Hazel Steinford of Wakefield. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Carl, Frank, George, John, Clifford, Art and Earl; and two sisters, Ethel Zerbe and Gladys Heintz.
