WILKINSON, KENNETH R. "POP", "BIG KEN", "WILKIE", at the age of 72, passed away peacefully in the home of his son Craig in West Hartford, CT on Saturday, January 21, 2012. He leaves behind five sons ("A B C D E"), Allen of Sumter, SC, Brad of North Woodstock, NH, Craig of West Hartford, Dean of Coventry, RI and Erik of Chesterfield, VA; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and two brothers, Charles of West Greenwich, RI and Douglas of Old Lyme. He was born and raised in Coventry, RI where he lived until 1991 when he moved to North Carolina to pursue his career in Architecture. After retirement he moved to West Hartford, CT where he spent his remaining years. He was an avid fisher, hunter, golfer and bowler who will be missed by his family and friends. We would like to honor him for his five years of service in the US Air Force and he was also a member of the American Institute of Architects. A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sat., Feb. 4 at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, located at 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, CT.
